 Unique indexing and non unique indexing

By implementing unique Indexing, duplicate rows can be avoided, 

By default primary key create unique clustered index, therefore doesn't allow user to insert duplicate values. 

Non unique index is just the opposite and default nature of any index if unique is not defined.
